Variscite ring sz 8.75 in sterling and fine silver with stamped band

I am still not sure about parting with this Variscite Cabochon! The minty and dark green colors are gorgeous. The stone is set in a sterling bezel with a twisted wire accent with a stamped ring shank. The ring shank has small bead wire soldered to both sides for additional texture. Definitely makes a statement: the ring is 42mm tall and 23 mm wide.

As silver rings and pendants are hand-made, there may be visible solder seams, toolmarks and joins. These irregularaties are characteristics that accompany handcrafted silversmith jewelry. These are physical marks telling of the piece's construction - born of the jeweler's tools and processes.
